Whitefish Community Foundation Great Fish Community Challenge Fundraiser 
August 11-September 11, 2026!

The Glacier Art Museum is extremely grateful and excited to be selected for the 12th annual Whitefish Community Foundation’s Great Fish Community Challenge fundraising campaign, running August 11 to September 11 and benefiting 89 Flathead Valley nonprofits! Please give a donation of any amount for the Glacier Art Museum (formerly Hockaday Museum of Art) to help support our educational programs in the coming year, and reach our $50,000 goal to be eligible for the percentage match grant!

Ways to be involved and donate:

• Great Fish Launch Party August 11, 5:00 – 7:30 pm: Bring board, donors, staff, and volunteers to the Great Fish Launch Party at the Glacier Range Rider Stadium! The fun begins at 5:00 p.m. with free food and drinks, non-profit booths, and opportunities for donors to win grants for their favorite participating organizations.

• Donate online! Go to the Great Fish Community Challenge online portal. Donations can be made to your favorite charities in one transaction August 11 through September 11, 5:00pm!

• You can also mail a check directly to the Whitefish Community Foundation offices. Make sure the check is made out to WCF and it MUST include an official 2026 donation form noting donation(s) for the non-profits of your choice (Gifts MUST be received by September 11, at 5pm to be eligible for the Match!) to: PO Box 1060, 214 West Second Street Whitefish, Montana 59937. 

• Donate at one of the POP UP STATIONS throughout the campaign! Contributions made at these stations for the Glacier Art Museum will be entered in a drawing for additional incentive grants!
