Using paper, paint, markers, crayons, and glue, preschool artists and their adult helpers share fun art projects to encourage creativity and develop basic art skills. Pre-school Art activities focus on process. Young artists practice skills in using pencils, scissors, glue, paint, etc. with the assistance of their parent/gaurdian helpers. Basic art vocabulary such as color, line, and shape are reinforced. Children are encouraged to listen to and follow directions as well as to help clean up after themselves.
Suggested donation $3 for child of non-members. Free with membership.
Full or partial scholarships for children’s classes for those with financial need are available through the Glacier Art Museum Ed Bailey Scholarship fund. Please direct Scholarship requests to Kathy Martin, Director of Education (education@glacierartmuseum.org), before signing up for class.
